CASA Events

Sunflower CASA Project hosts 2 major fundraising events and several other events each year.

Breakfast with Bill Snyder is taking place on April 5th. Hall of Fame Coach and recent National Mentor Award Winner Bill Snyder will discuss the importance of mentoring over breakfast.

CASA Comedy Club takes place every September! This year's event is scheduled for September 16, 2016.

We also host events to promote Child Abuse Prevention and Awareness Month (Blue Ribbon Month) in April, such as Pinwheels for Prevention that you will see in the county courthouse lawn. Our annual Child Abuse Prevention kick-off event will take place April 1 at noon at the county courthouse.

CASA volunteer training is held at least two times each year. Sessions generally begin in September and February. CASA staff also hosts monthly in-service opportunities for volunteers.

    Scout Ride for CASA

    The Scout Ride to benefit CASA will take place on September 16th! Both the 25 mi. and 50 mi./Metric Century routes are ideal for young people and scouts (Girl Scouts & Boy Scouts) looking to earn badges.  Young and old, families welcome!
